Hello to all the current, new, and prospective members of Pack 38, we are gearing up for another amazing year filled with fun, adventures and memories to last a lifetime!

Kicking off the year we have our Join Scouting Night and first Pack Meeting on Monday September 8th, 2025.

Join Scouting Night
Time: 9/8/25 – 6:00PM to 6:55 PM

Location: Church of Christ – 21860 Pontiac Trail, South Lyon, MI 48178

Audience: New and Prospective Cub Scouts + Families

What: The kids will get to do several fun activities including launching Water Rockets while the Adults and Leaders talk about Pack 38 and our Cub Scouting Program.

Pack Meeting
Time: 9/8/25 – 7:00PM to 8:30 PM

Location: Church of Christ – 21860 Pontiac Trail, South Lyon, MI 48178

Audience: Pack 38 Cub Scouts & Families + New/Prospective Cub Scouts + Families

What: We will do our normal informational announcements, then we will be having a Popcorn Carnival! This will include a bunch of fun activities, while also getting us geared up for our annual Popcorn fundraiser!

If you happned to miss the first Join Scouting Night, we will be having our second one on October 14th, during our next Pack Meeting.

This will be from 6:30 until 8:00PM.  We will do our normal ceremonies, hand out earned awards, cover relevant announcements, the get into our activity for the evening, a Technology Take Apart!

The kids and scouts will get to work on that, while the parents will speak with the Leaders to learn more about Cub Scouts and Pack 38.

Pack Meeting / Join Scouting Night #2
Time: Monday, October 14, 2024. 6:30PM to 8:00 PM
Location: Church of Christ – 21860 Pontiac Trail, South Lyon, MI 48178
Audience: All Pack 38 members + families and New and Prospective Cub Scouts + families
What: The kids will get to take apart various types of technology such as old computers, handheld devices, etc., while the Adults and Leaders talk about Pack 38 and our Cub Scouting Program.

What: The kids will get to do several fun activities including launching Water Rockets and Wood Working, while the Adults and Leaders talk about Pack 38 and our Cub Scouting Program.

Pack Meeting
Time: 9/9/24 – 7:00PM to 9:00 PM

Location: Church of Christ – 21860 Pontiac Trail, South Lyon, MI 48178

Audience: Pack 38 Cub Scouts & Families + New/Prospective Cub Scouts + Families

What: We will do our normal informational announcements, then we will do an Egg Drop activity. All kids will get to design and test their own custom method to protect an egg, as the leaders drop them from atop a ladder! Please bring recyclables such as cardboard, bottles, tape, etc. to share with the group for materials.
